DPD will be yours faithfully at Cricket Pavilion this Sunday
This just in:
If one DPD show this weekend wasn’t enough, Lady Luck is with you. You may have heard it from a friend, who heard it from a friend, who heard that Dennis DeYoung and Steve Perry are going to spite their former band members by having Drunk Prom Date play Cricket Pavilion’s this Sunday. Being a renegade band DPD is not one to stray from controversy, you remember the East Coast/West Cost DPD hullabaloo in the late 90’s god rest Tupac’s soul, Drunk Prom Date will be rocking the paradise on the side stage at Cricket Pavilion prior to the REO/Styx/Journey show.
Dennis DeYoung was quoted as saying, “How can Styx go on after Drunk Prom Date? It can’t be done, it’s just a Grand Illusion. I need to get out of these lights, I feel tired.” Steve Perry piped in, “I never really felt a part of Journey. And I’ve certainly never felt a part of Drunk Prom Date. Who’s crying now Neil Schon?” Then he stared off into the distance and babbled incoherently for 20 minutes.
Be good to yourself this weekend and get it any way you want it with Drunk Prom Date, you’ll have the best of times.
Saturday May 17th Champions in Mesa at Broadway/Gilbert @ 9p
Sunday May 18th Cricket Pavilion @ 5p 6:30p
We’ll keep on lovin’ you,
Drunk Prom Date |
