There is no "I" in DPD, but there's at least one You

To celebrate all of our loyal customers for the past 19 years, Drunk Prom Date announces its 23rd annual Customer Appreciation night at The Monkey Parts Bar & Grill in Tempe.

"We think it's important to take time to say thank you to DPD customers," said Horace McCleanstein, associate vice president of DPD strategic developmental corporate initiatives, southwestern west mountain region. "They're the reason this juggernaut of music marketing has pulled itself up from pools of its own vomit, time and time again."

That's right, this Saturday - and this Saturday only - DPD will be firing up the helium tanks, recruiting drunken, face painting clowns, and baking the "good" kind of cupcakes to show Drunk Prom Date's devoted customers how much they mean to them. There'll be plenty of Drunk Prom Date coffee mugs and commemorative tube-socks for all. And between sets, stick around for a brief "Rocking 101" tutorial hosted by DPD members from days of yore, Dusty Broomfield, The Nuge, and Deadbeat number 12. So get on myspace.com and find yourself a date or an internet 'celebrity'.

And don't forget to bring your Drunk Prom Date frequent rocker cards for terrific savings on tasty tunes like "Jessie's Girl" and "Already Gone", as well as 20% off all Faster Pussycat songs. Plus, the first 50 patrons will bear witness to DPD's first Bananarama warmup medley.

So look for the big waving/flopping balloonman and rainbow-colored, barn-shaped moonwalk on the Northeast corner of Mill and Southern at Monkey Parts Bar & Grill.
