Ever since their first band rivalry with Millie-Vanilli in the late 80¹s, Drunk Prom Date has been regulated to the outer cusp of the rock and roll circle. As many of you saw on VH1 Behind the Music, it was Drunk Prom Date¹s V-drummer who drunkenly stumbled into the record player during Milli-Vanilli¹s last performance exposing Rob and Fab as just really, really good looking German guys and not overly produced pop vocalists. This electronic mishap sent shock waves through the music industry and Drunk Prom Date immediately became the Kaiser Soze to bands who used prerecorded music. Even today, over a decade later, every band that pipes in their tunes knows the myth that is DPD. They have been bred to fear that one day the DPD, in a drunken stupor, without warning, will crash into their CD player during their rendition of ³Celebration², virtually throwing off the entire rhythm of the band with the simulated horn section. The horror, the horror! And so it goes with our friends The Chadwicks as we have received their ³opt out² to no longer receive Drunk Prom Date updates.

reason, I've given my love to another band
Drunk Prom Date is sorry to see The Chadwicks make this choice as we have learned a great deal from the ultra popular cover band. Honestly, DPD would have never known Jessie¹s Girl would bring so many 30something MILF¹s swooning to the edge of the stage if it weren¹t for The Chadwicks. And who would have thunk of covering Brown Eyed Girl? - The Chadwicks. We¹ll miss our brethren the Chadwicks as they rise to a status that we could never hope to attain. We apologize to them for recently focusing our energy on the Oligopoly that is the New Times it wasn¹t intentional. All we can ask is that: If The Chadwicks see us walking by and the tears our in our eyes look away, Chadwicks look away.
We feel the only way to get over a loss like this is for all DPD and Chadwick fans to get together and rock The Monastery this Friday at the New Mesa Monastery location at Falcon Field.
The Monastery Mesa @ 8p (it¹s Mesa, we start early cause they go to bed early)
McKellips 2 blocks east of Greenfield at Falcon Field Airport
