Yes it has been much too long since Drunk Prom Date has taken the stage in a rock and roll frenzy. But we’re here to quash any rumors that have been flying around the valley music scene that through a series of backroom negotiations The Chadwicks used a bit of their clout, and some compromising photos, to force Drunk Prom Date into only doing gigs within a 100 mile radius of the Rock Island/Moline metropolitan area. It is true that Drunk Prom Date did do a two day stint in the Quad Cities over Superbowl weekend opening for Stryper, but this is only because both bands have such an appreciation for dressing as bees and nothing to do with the respected rivalry between The Chadwicks and Drunk Prom Date.

So to celebrate Drunk Prom Date’s arrival back to the Grand Canyon State, and their newfound understanding of Christian rock, our friends at The Waterfront Grill are throwing a 70’s Party this Friday night. And this is no run of the mill 70’s party, this is the real deal. To really get into it you need to don a leisure suit or tight silky dress, get ready to dance The Hustle, snort coke off the backs of naked people you don't know, and vote for Jimmy Carter...you know, true 70s stuff.
