Boo all you want - On Halloween it doesn't mean we suck.
Halloween night with Drunk Prom Date has become a valley tradition for over twenty years, but unfortunately our brethren from Haggis have taken a hiatus and DPD will not be performing at the annual Draggis show. This news has left Drunk Prom Date in a quandary with no theme for the festive evening. After many sleepless nights we lost hope that we’d come up with an idea that would meet you, our loyal audiences’ expectations. That was until our brethren from Steppchild declared that on Helloween they will be paying tribute to the greatest rock and roll band ever, performing as a Black Sabbath tribute band. This certainly got DPD’s attention, but who could we tribute? The Atomic Punks have taken Van Halen, Love Electric has The Cult, TNT is AC/DC, and I defy anyone to tell me Tooth and Nail isn’t the greatest Dokken tribute band around. Who’s left worth paying tribute to we wondered? Then like a Grand Theft Auto: Vice City whack, it hit us.
This Halloween join Drunk Prom Date at Fat Tuesday on Mill where Drunk Prom Date is Martini Ranch: A tribute to the Chadwicks. That’s right Drunk Prom Date will be paying tribute to our brethren The Chadwicks, covering the cover tunes that the Chadwicks cover. Yes, we’re aware that The Chadwicks only have four people in the band and we have five. Just pretend Allan Chadwick came back for one night to sit in.
Peace, love and understanding from your friends at
